2018-2019 BMW X5 – Ultra Luxury SUV!
The all-new 2019 X5 is nicknamed “The Boss” and is built on the new CLAR architecture that provides more technology and a better ride. The chassis consists of an A-arm front axle and a five-link rear, supporting a base, sport or air suspension that automatically self-levels both axles. You get Dynamic Damper Control standard with two settings – Comfort and Sport. Rear steering is available.
For 2019, X5 is 1.1 inches longer and the 117.1-inch wheelbase has gained 1.6 inches. It’s also 2.6 inches wider and sits a little lower. The exterior design is an evolutionary step beyond the previous model, with a larger grille creating more of a separation between the headlights, and the taillights have a new 3-D look. X5 offers hill ascent and descent control, remote engine start, adaptive LED headlights (laser lights are optional) and a towing hitch.
You can start building your X50 by selecting the powertrain. TheX50 xDrive40i gets a 3.0-liter turbocharged I-6 making 335 horsepower and 33 lb-ft of torque. For more power, choose the X50 xDrive50i with its 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 that puts out 456 horsepower and 479 lb-ft. Both engines drive all four wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The xLine Design for the X5 provides a choice of three tiers:
Convenience Tier: Includes 4-zone automatic climate control, Comfort Access keyless entry and a 1-year all-access subscription to SiriusXM Radio.
Premium Tier: Additional features include Parking Assistant Plus, wireless charging with WiFI hotspot, enhanced Bluetooth and USB, Gesture Control, surround view with 3D view, and head-up display.
Executive Tier: Additional features include remote engine start, rear manual side window shades, soft-close automatic doors, icon adaptive LED headlights with Laserlight and heated/cooled cupholders.
M Sport Design
You can choose the M Sport Design for either X5 model to maximize the vehicle’s athletic reflexe and bold looks. You can decide to add Premium or Executive Tier to your M Sport Design X5 xDrive40i or X5 xDrive50i.
